1 Sarah’s Heavy Heart Sue Rider , 2015 single work drama

'Sarah has a heavy heart. It's difficult to carry, getting on the bus is tricky, school and play-time present problems and it makes bath time impossible. But she carries it with her wherever she goes.

'One day Sarah meets a boy who blows in with the wind. His heart is so light it carries him away. Sarah follows the boy through trees and buildings until he lands on the outside of town. Together, the new friends realise they are a perfect balance and can help each other on their journey back to the town.

'Adapted from Peter Carnavas’s beautiful picture book, Sarah’s Heavy Heart is a heart-warming, whimsical work filled with movement, music, life and laughter. '(Production summary)

'How does a teenager accept or acknowledge their Aboriginal identity when it has been hidden for so long? Jordan has a white Mum and an Aboriginal Dad. Jordan wants to make a mark on the world, but which world? Is it possible to navigate a path between two cultures and still remain true to yourself? Or is there another way altogether – that’d be real deadly, eh?!'

1 4 The Pink Twins Sue Rider , 2009 single work musical theatre An original work of music theatre about twins Moyla and Dorothy O'Brien, eccentricity and the desire to do good. They dressed in pink, accessorised in pink, lived in a pink house, and drove a pink car. 'Relive the vibrant stories of nine extraordinary women from Australia’s past- Gladys Moncrieff, Australia’s ‘Queen of Song’; Lillian Cooper, Queensland’s first female doctor; Emma Miller, ‘Mother of the Labor Party’, and many more equally important women of the past who inspired the women of the future.

'The doctor and her bicycle, the shy painter, the naturalist who knows no English, the kitchen maid who reads Shakespeare, the trade unionist, the performer, the ill-fated teacher and the luckless farmer’s wife accused of murder, The Matilda Women is fastpaced imaginative theatre that celebrates the strengths and achievements of Australian women.'

'Zoggy, a modern young girl, works in a recording studio. To amuse herself, she fools around with a metronome and discovers that she can alter time. In flashes of light and riotous sound she is hurtled into the world of Musiciana, where she meets some very strange people - Anne Dante, Al Egro, Boy Minor and the Major. She has some fantastic adventures and, with the help of the audience, solves a riddle which enables her to get back home. A bizarre comedy, reflective of the unreal worlds of 'Alice' and 'Peter Pan'.'
