AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Sarah has a heavy heart. It's difficult to carry, getting on the bus is tricky, school and play-time present problems and it makes bath time impossible. But she carries it with her wherever she goes.

'One day Sarah meets a boy who blows in with the wind. His heart is so light it carries him away. Sarah follows the boy through trees and buildings until he lands on the outside of town. Together, the new friends realise they are a perfect balance and can help each other on their journey back to the town.

'Adapted from Peter Carnavas’s beautiful picture book, Sarah’s Heavy Heart is a heart-warming, whimsical work filled with movement, music, life and laughter. '(Production summary)
