BiographyHistory

Open Door Press was founded by Alan Gould (q.v) and managed by a group of Canberra poets. The press experimented with form and presentation in the publication of poetry. In publishing a series of broadsheets featuring single poems, the press attempted to marry visual presentation with the written word. The press also published some volumes of selections of their own work by Canberra poets. All publications were handset and in limited editions.
