BiographyHistory

Nimrod Publications was a small independent press founded by a group of poets to publish the work of Hunter Valley writers and artists. It began with a series of poetry pamphlets, and progressed to book-length poetry collections, for example in its Hunter Valley Poets volumes. From 1965 the press was managed by Norman Talbot (q.v.), who was also the editor.

At the time of its demise in the late 1990s, the press had issued almost forty publications.
