BiographyHistory

Established in 1970 by bookseller, publisher and writer A.W. Sheppard. Sheppard was the proprietor of Morgan's Bookshop (subsequently Sheppard's) in Sydney betwen 1951 and 1972, and of Morgan publications. In 1975 Sheppard was sales manager for Thomas Nelson. Alpha Press published only books written by Australian residents on Australian subjects.
