Hodder Headline Australia is part of the Hodder Headline publishing group, formed by the merger of Hodder and Stoughton and Headline in 1993, and now owned by the French company Hachette Livre. Hodder Headline Australia is a consumer book publisher and distributor. It markets and distributes a wide variety of books and other materials for children and adults in the areas of literary and popular fiction and non-fiction, biography, autobiography, current affairs, sport, lifestyle, health/self help, humour, travel, Australiana and history. Hodder Headline Australia is also the Australian distributor for Piatkus and Lion Publishing.
