BiographyHistory

Steve Kilbey was the lead singer-songwriter and bassist for The Church, an Australian psychedelic rock band. He is also a music producer, poet and painter.

The Church went on to international fame in 1988 with the song 'Under the Milky Way' from the album Starfish. Kilbey co-wrote the song with Karin Jansson of the bands Pink Champagne and Curious Yellow.
