BiographyHistory

Louise Oxley was born and educated in Hobart, but has also lived in Bordeaux, London and Bangkok. She holds a masters degree in Applied Linguistics and has worked with international students at the University of Tasmania as a teacher of English as a Second Language.

The writing of her poetry book, Compound Eye, has been assisted by an Australia Council grant and a residency at Varuna Writers' Centre.
