BiographyHistory

Former schoolteacher Noel Hodda is an actor who has appeared in Australian television drama since the mid-1980s. A graduate of NIDA, he helped found the Griffin Theatre Company in 1978. He directed the plays Issues Addressed and Crosscuts for the Company.

Hodda has also narrated the recorded versions of numerous works of fiction. One of the works he narrated, Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier, won the unabridged fiction category in the 1999 TDK Australian Audio Book Awards. Hodda's play "Half Safe" was performed by the Riverina Theatre Company in 1990.
