BiographyHistory

After emigrating to Australia, Ian Kennedy Williams worked in a variety of jobs, as pier hand, retail salesman, stores clerk and machinist. He has been writing poetry and short stories since the 1970s and writing full-time since 1983. He left Melbourne in 1979 and moved to the north coast of New South Wales.
