BiographyHistory

Herbert Hoover was a Republican President of the USA from 1928-1932. Earlier in his career he worked for the British company, Bewick Moreing on the West Australian goldfields. Hoover's first visit to Australia was from 1897-1898. He revisited on several other occasions representing both Bewick Moreing and Zinc Corporation.
