BiographyHistory

Roger McKnight spent his early years in Jamestown, South Australia, before his family moved to Maitland, also in South Australia, during the depression. At school he won prizes for writing, but left school to join the army, serving in the Pacific region. After the war he settled on on the central south coast of South Australia and became a dairy and beef cattle farmer, he and his wife both becoming adept at woodcraft.
