BiographyHistory

Loniel Hudson worked as a journalist with the Sydney Sun before enlisting with the RAF in World War II. In 1944 he was captured by the Japanese and was held in Ragoon for five months. After the war he worked as a war correspondent in Japan and South-East Asia before taking up the positions of foreign correspondent in Singapore and the New York desk editor for AAP-Reuter. Hudson has also worked as a television news executive and as a producer of wildlife documentaries.
