BiographyHistory

Morgan grew up in New Zealand but has spent all her adult life in Australia. She was at one time editor of Mattoid and taught English at the Wilderness School (SA) in the early 1990s. She has been secondary English teacher and Head of Department in schools across Australia. Morgan moved to Queensland where she is Secondary English area coordinator, within the School of Cultural and Language Studies in Education at the Queensland University of Technology. She has chaired the Queensland Poets' Association and served as judge for the Queensland Premier's Prize for Poetry.
