BiographyHistory

Alf Wood was educated at Maitland High School and Sydney University. During World War II he served with the AIF. He worked as a school teacher and headmaster until his retirement in 1969. He retired to Buderim, Queensland in 1972. His published work includes collections of bush verse, plays for schools and poems included in various collections.
