BiographyHistory

Thomas Walker was educated in Edinburgh and in the south of France and worked in a mercantile house at Leith until his emigration to Australia in 1822. In June 1843, Walker was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Council as one of the representatives of the Port Phillip district.
