BiographyHistory

Patrick Hanrahan's forebears on his mother's and father's side were involved in the Eureka Stockade uprising in Ballarat in 1854. Hanrahan was himself raised in Ballarat, the third of eleven children in an Irish family. Following university and acting studies, Hanrahan moved to London were he changed focus to linguistics. He then re-located to Italy where he settled with his Italian wife and their children. Hanrahan is fluent in Spanish, French and Italian.
