BiographyHistory

Docker was a New South Wales barrister and judge. He was also a noted early photographer. He attended the University of Sydney in the period 1861-1865, where he graduated with a M.A. Docker had a longstanding interest in Australian literature, and was a friend and admirer of poet Henry Kendall (q.v.). His 1922 photograph of the Darlinghurst house once owned by bibliophile David Scott Mitchell (q.v.) is held at the State Library of New South Wales.
