BiographyHistory

Although born in England, Magnus spent most of his adult life in other countries, before settling in Canada in 1952, where he has worked as a journalist and newspaper columnist. He did, however, live for a time in Australia, and his only novel Hanabeke is based on his Australian experiences. Magnus has also written a biblical criticism, Uneasy Lies the Word : A Layman's Look at Revision (1982).
