BiographyHistory

Emigrating from London after the Second World War, Mal Morgan qualified as a pharmacist in 1959. He convened Melbourne's La Mama Poetica poetry readings in Carlton (1985-1991) and directed the Montsalvat National Poetry Festivals at Eltham, Victoria (1991-1993). He judged, edited and taught poetry for nearly forty years.
