BiographyHistory

Philip Parsons taught in the English Department of the University of Western Australia in the 1950s. He met and married Katharine Brisbane in 1959 and they spent some time in Cambridge before returning to Perth until 1965 when Parsons was appointed as a Drama Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. In the early 1970s, after travelling through Europe and North America on study leave, Parsons and Brisbane established Currency Press.
