BiographyHistory

Vilma Sirianni was brought to Australia by her parents from Italy. A speaker of Italian, she has worked part-time as a bankclerk and has studied at university. She has been drawn to expresssing the tension created through the interaction of two cultures. Her work was read on Radio Manly/Warringah between 1987 and 1989, and she has read at the Community Arts Festival, Narrabeen, New South Wales, in 1988 and at the launch of the anthology Beyond the Echo, also in 1988.
