BiographyHistory

Hammond Innes was a British author who was a journalist and prolific novelist. To write Golden Soak (1973), he spent time in Australia, travelling through the Ophthalmia Range from Mt Newman to Mt Robinson at the end of the mining boom of 1969-1970.
