'Stuart Cunningham has a PhD (Film Studies) from Griffith University and where he has been (2009), Director of the Australian Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation at the Queensland University of Technology. He is well known for his contributions to media, communications and cultural studies and to their relevance to industry practice and government policy.
