Henry Lew, an ophthalmic surgeon, has had a particualar interest in art. As he says in The Five Walking Sticks, this interest is not surprising, 'for the study of ophthalmology, like the study of art, is a most visual science'. Lew lives in Melbourne with his wife and two children.
