Arch Grosvenor commenced his career as a journalist in South Australia in 1925. He worked initially on country papers and was for 27 years the editor of the Murray Pioneer in Renmark. In 1964 he moved to Adelaide to work with The Advertiser. He retired in 1976 but continued to contribute articles, particularly on lawn bowls.
