BiographyHistory

Alice Ham worked as a teacher at St John's Day School, Brisbane and Mrs Barlow's Girl's School, Toowoomba. In 1897-1898, as 'Hafra', she briefly succeeded Mary Hannay Foott ('La Quenouille') as editor of the women's section and social pages of the Queenslander and Brisbane Courier.
