BiographyHistory

Of Spanish-Italian-Australian descent, Strano left school at thirteen and worked in the local sawmill, then as a salesman and an insurance representative. He won prizes for his poetry and contibuted to magazines such as Luna, Imago and the Brisbane-produced poetry journals Chimera and Germinal. In 2007 he turned to children's short story writing,
