BiographyHistory

Born in Trieste, Italy, Bordon migrated to Australia in 1954 with her family. She became a foundation member of the Queensland Multicultural Writers Association. She also worked as a radio producer and announcer in the Italian language. Her work has been published in numerous newspapers, magazines, the Q.M.W.A.'s Annual Reading booklets, in the book Windows and also in her native Italy. In 1986 she received the Dante Alighieri Award at Griffith University and in 1994 was awarded first prize in the Concorso Della Poesia Dialettale.
