BiographyHistory

John Connor lectured in history at the Menzies Centre for Australian Studies, King's College, London, from 2003-2004, and was Senior historian at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, 2004-2007 before joining the University of New South Wales @ ADFA as Senior lecturer in history. Dr Connor's works include, The Australian Frontier Wars 1788-1838 (2002) and, with David Horner, The Good International Citizen: Australian Peacekeeping in Asia, Africa and Europe, 1991-1993. Vol. III of The Official History of Australian Peacekeeping, Humanitarian and Post-Cold War Operations (2012). His research interests include the British Empire and World War I, frontier and colonial warfare, and military history.
