BiographyHistory

Dimitris Tzoumacas undertook studies of sociology in Paris on a French government scholarship between 1968 and 1974. In Australia he has worked in the public relations department of an airlines company; with the Standard Telephones and Cables Company; as a journalist for the newspapers Panellenios Kerykas and Eleutherie Phone; for Radio 2RSR; and as editor and co-owner of the periodical Allage. His work was read on radio in Stockholm in 1988, in Athens in 1988 and 1989, and on Radio 2EA in 1989. He also read at the Adelaide Festival in 1988.
