BiographyHistory

Janka Abrami was born in Bendzin, Poland and after moving to Australia became a member of the Australian Society of Women Writers, the Victorian Association of Multicultural Writers, and the 'Wednesday Writers' group of the Fellowship of Australian Writers. Her work has been widely read in public - on Radio 3EA in 1987 and 1989, at Brighton High School in 1987, at Piccolo Spoleto, at Footscray Library and St Kilda Library in 1987 and 1988, and at 'Monsalvat' and Caulfield Library in 1988.
