'In 2011, Donna Coates was Associate Professor in the English Department at the University of Calgary. She has co-edited, with Sherrill Grace, a two-volume collection of Canadian War Drama (2008, 2010), and co-edited, with George Melnyk, Essays on Alberta Writing (2009). She has also published numerous articles and book chapters on Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, and American women's fictional (and memoir and drama) responses to the First and Second World Wars and the Vietnam War.
