BiographyHistory

Gregory Rudd is the brother of Kevin Rudd, Leader of the Australian Labor Party (in 2007). Rudd grew up on a dairy farm near Noosa and went to Marist Brothers Ashgrove as a boarder; the school waived fees due to the family's financial constraints. He then gained a teaching qualification and lectured in Drama at the Brisbane College of Advanced Education. Rudd also managed to hitchhike around parts of Australia in his early twenties, engaging in a variety of odd jobs. He has been an administrator at Twelfth Night Theatre and Head of Performing Arts at St. Peters Lutheran College. For six years Rudd was a senior adviser in the Hawke/Keating government. He established Open Door Consulting, a political lobbying organisation.

Rudd has written screenplays and radio plays. There have also been three other unpublished novels: 'The Spirit of a Warrior', 'Blood Run' and 'The Chameleon'.
