BiographyHistory

In addition to the works listed here, Gale also wrote books on Canberra, the Australian Alps and on trout fishing. He founded the Queanbeyan Age in 1860 and edited it for a number of years. He also founded several other newspapers, including the Gunning Leader (1876). He edited the Queanbeyan Observer from 1984 to 1903.
