BiographyHistory

Dr Catherine Keenan is co-founder of Sydney Story Factory, and an advocate for marginalised youth, focusing on helping Indigenous and non-English speaking backgrounds. In 2016, Keenan was awarded Australia's Local Hero, at the Australian of the Year Awards for her work in this area.

Keenan has previously worked as a journalist, biographer, arts writer and literary editor, and has a Doctorate in English Literature from Oxford University.
