Cherie Imlah has written drama and poetry. Her work has been published in several literary magazines, and her one-woman show "Belongings" was performed at the Fifth International Women Playwright's Conference in Greece. In addition to her writing, Imlah has lectured in Justice Studies at Queensland University of Technology. In 2008 Imlah was awarded a PhD in Creative Writing from Griffith University.
