BiographyHistory

Harold Levien was the founder and editor of the 1950s political and economic magazine Voice: The Australian Independent Monthly. The magazine ceased production in 1956. In 1967 Levien published the small monograph, Vietnam, Myth And Reality. Levien subsequently became a teacher of economics, working at the Sydney Technical College for many years. Following his retirement in the 1980s, he continued to write, his work appearing in several economics journals and most recently Arena Magazine.
