BiographyHistory

John Liddell Kelly was a New Zealand writer, originally from Scotland, who published some of his poetry in the Bulletin. Kelly married his cousin, Jane Caldow in 1870. Together they had seven daughters and four sons. (Only four of the daughters survived.) Kelly left Scotland for New Zealand in 1880.
