BiographyHistory

Educated at Pulteney Grammar School, Meller was a land valuer in the South Australian civil service before enlisting in the first AIF. He served at Gallipoli and in France.

E. Morris Miller's Australian Literature from its Beginnings to 1935 indicates that he contributed short stories and sketches to Adelaide and other newspapers and wrote a scenario for the South Australian centenary pageant. It also states that he completed a new novel, 'The End of Silence', but this has not been traced.
