BiographyHistory

Marian Pretzel was a Jewish art student in Lvov, Poland at the outbreak of the Second World War. His parents disappeared under the Nazi occupation and he was sent to the Janowska concentration camp from which he escaped. Pretzel developed a successful career in Australia as a graphic designer. Also an artist, he has held a number of exhibitions of his paintings.
