BiographyHistory

Marion Nixon lived for some years on a cattle station in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Her novel, Stop Whispering, Annie! is based on her experiences there. Two of her other books are about the Kimberley region: The Rivers of Home : Frank Lacy, Kimberley Pioneer [1978?] and Children in the Sun (1995). She has also written about the Murchison region of Western Australia, in Road to the Murchison : an illustrated story of the district and its people [1988], co-written with R.F.B. Lefroy.
