BiographyHistory

After leaving school at fifteen, Helen Heritage trained as a nurse at Austin Hospital, Victoria, returning to study as a mature age student. She graduated with an Arts degree from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Human Relationships from Melbourne State College.

Under the name Garlick, she has had stories published in Meanjin, Overland, Westerly and Antipodes and was a founding editor of Fine Lines.
