BiographyHistory

Bruce Lindsay Hanna has worked in a number of different fields, including as a training supervisor, project officer and electrician. A cartoonist, he has also written fiction, poetry and short stories. He has written for radio and contributed to several Australian literary magazines. In August 1977 he was Angus & Robertson's Poet of the Month with An Empire of Exiles, mainly written whilst he was travelling through Southeast Asia. In 1984 he edited the Tangentyere newspaper for Tangentyere Council of Aboriginal Housing Associations and in the same year edited Paper TV - Independent News under an assumed name in Adelaide.
