BiographyHistory

Pat Richardson completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at the University of Technology, Sydney, as a mature-age student. She has been a performance writer, presenting a regular show called Queenie : Letters from a Queensland Army Nurse 1915-17 on radio station 2SER-FM (Sydney) in the early 1990s. Richardson has contributed to journals such as Womanspeak, Woman-Church and Newswit. She has been a member of the Management Committee (and President) of Nambucca Valley Arts Council, as well as a member of the International Alliance of Women.

A scrapbook of material relating to Richardson's research interest and involvement in the Women's Electoral Lobby and women's events is held in the Mitchell and Dixson Libraries Manuscripts Collection at the State Library of New South Wales.
