BiographyHistory

In the early 1980s Elaine lived at Dulwich and taught drama and poetry, published in journals and read on the ABC. She was president of the SA Poets' Union. At one stage she sang in a rock band. In 1982-3 she worked on a play designed for youth performance, and she has taught dancing. By 1987 she was working as Project Officer in the Equal Opportunities Unit of TAFE, and in 1993 was Principal of a state girls' school. In 1996 she was living at St Peters, working on a manuscript of poems dedicated to her son.
