Dorothy Williams lived in the Dandenongs in Victoria. A former secretary and secondary teacher (B.A., Dip.Ed.), Williams published material in a variety of genres including teenage fiction, poetry and local history including Monbulk : Living in the Dandenongs : A Social History (1998). She taught creative writing and literacy.
