BiographyHistory

Tom Gibbons, who was born in Salford, England, completed a Master of Arts degree from the University of Western Australia in 1957 and a doctorate in 1966 from Cambridge University. He was a Senior Lecturer in English at the University of Western Australia before becoming an Adjunct Professor at Curtin University. He is the author of several books on literary appreciation and is also an artist.
