BiographyHistory

Jolanta Garolis was born of a Russian mother and a Lithuanian father. A speaker of Lithuanian, German, French and Russian, she is also well known as a visual artist and for her ceramics. Her illustrations have been published in Outrider and in the anthologies No Regrets 3 and Australian Writing 1988. Between 1984 and 1988 she read at Poets Union readings in Sydney and also at the launching of the Beyond the Echo anthology in Sydney, 1988.
