BiographyHistory

David Tacey has a research interest in psychoanalysis, psychology, and psychoanalytic literary and cultural criticism; Aboriginal religion and cultures; Australian poetry and fiction; the fiction of D.H. Lawrence; the poetry of Les Murray; classical studies and myth criticism; popular culture and film studies.

He has researched and written in the areas of theology, the environment, literature and religious movements and has expressed 'a strong interest in extending intellectual concerns and interests into the wider popular domain'. Tacey is a regular contributor to newspapers and journals including Island, Meanjin and Quadrant.

Tacey has published monographs on Jung, Patrick White, male identity, and spritituality in Australia.
